One night of painting and drinking I was into an area of exploration and decided to douse my painting with wine and paint with it - the rest is history. I have since explored and painted with all form of liquor, coffee and just recently different fruits and vegetable stains.
Someone once told me that my drawings have a “great blend of humor with an underlying sadness”. I think that is the absolute perfect way to describe my work. Now my characters will evolve just like a child of my own. I’m excited to see how the will be all grown up and ready to leave the nest.
